YES I prefer the udma it seems to last forever on battery since you get it charging via the usb port unlike the mk 2 . good luck

interesting so a compromise on cost to size is the 500GB ssd reasonable size crucial seem very good value at the moment. and it does work in both devices unlike the almost 1tb.

have just checked with my spare samsumg 250 gig ssd the 840 series perfect in both udma and udma 2 the prices are very good now and it makes the colorspace featherweight now
