Are you sure it's formatted as FAT32, rather than ExFAT. ExFAT doesn't work with the UDMA3?

It's quite possible that the battery is worn out, if it was second hand, or just bad if new.

I've just looked at my machine and it's the Reset option on the bottom of the Settings menu. Make sure you backup all files on the drive before you use it.

There’s likely a process stuck running. I would try completely rebooting the device via the setting menu. It did happen to me once. Also worth checking you have the latest firmware.
