HyperDrive Gen2 12 port - Video Flicker on MBP

Running into an issue where the video flickers when coming out of sleep. Sometimes up to 3-4 times. HDMI connection to HP 25F monitor. No flicker happens with any other hub product or HDMI connector.

Please advise.

  +1 Having similar issues as well as this morning the MBP saw the display existing but the display wasn't reading any signal. Had to connect an older hub to get monitor working again. 

   

  Edit: FWIW the none reading cleared up after unplugging/plugging back in HyperDrive.

  I am having the same problem with MBP 16". At random instances after my MBP wakes up, I get flickers on the screen that will not stop until I reboot the MBP. This does not happen with any other hub. This is becoming really annoying.

  I did have some success in making the flicker go away by using the DisplayPort instead of HDMI. So this appears to be related to that port only.

  I did not try the Display Port yet.

  However I did try to switch between both HDMI ports, that did not help.

  We are having the same issue 2020 MBP 16" with additional video cards.  Our screen will not stop flickering until rebooted. We have set all resolution, and refresh rates to accommodate for our 4k monitors...  All brand new equipment.

  I have been having this issue as well. I have to use another dongle, and my $150 hyperdrive is now just a usb hub with an SD card reader

  I have a HyperDrive Gen2 18 port connected to MBP 16," and I am having the same problem with the flickering. If I use an apple HDMI adaptor, I have no problems. I even brought a power adaptor in case that helps, but no the monitor still flickers randomly. Is there a fix?

  This is crazy that the company still has no comment whatsoever about this issue. This is a $150 device that is supposed to give us a solution. Where is the customer support? Or is it just a sell and run gig ?

  Same issue here. Connecting MBP 16 2020 makes flickers, and I have to reboot the system every time for fix the problem. Please, we need a solution here.

  I had the same flickering problem with my MBP 16 and HyperDrive Gen2 18 port.
  If you contact service they will send you a firmware update (software), that can only be applied by a Windows PC with a TB3 port. After updating the firmware all my flickering problems are gone.
