My only working iUSBport 2 - acts strange.
In Ad Hoc mode - it doesn't stay on sometimes and turns off. Sometimes if I scan a network - it drops connection to my WiFi and turns off.
I'd like to use it like my original iUSBport - as an always on FTP Server. It appears I can not! (there are reasons for this - off network cameras that ftp images/videos for security applications, etc).
And Scanning for networks - is rather bad. I think it's a list of max 25 devices - and I'm guessing the ones that are with BLANK names are hidden networks. Well what is difficult is there are maybe 50 wireless routers nearby, and I'm only seeing 1 or 2 of my routers at a time. I've seen the 3rd one once.
I managed to get it on one of my networks - but when I power on the device - it starts in Ad Hoc mode. I have to play with the power button - and then it switches to infrastructure and connects to my network. Yes, the checkbox is checked to connect to the network on the internal webpage. It just doesn't do this first on start up.
