Delkin CF "Card Not Found" in ColorSpace UDMA
I've got a ColorSpace UDMA (1st gen) that successfully recognizes every card I've put into it, including an older Delkin UDMA 32GB card.
A new Delkin UDMA 32GB card (CF500X), with very similar read/write specs to the older one, is reported as "Not Found" by the ColorSpace. I've updated to the latest firmware (V39) and that doesn't help. Also reformatted the card many times using my Canon 5D MkII, which is how I always format my cards. The card has been used only once, and is recognized fine on other devices including my camera and card reader.
Anybody else have trouble getting a card recognized by tthe ColorSpace?

To Marc
Try to reformat the card to FAT from computer instead of on a camera, and then try it again.

Thanks Kelvin, but I've already been led through that process by your support staff. What we finally came up with is that some Delkin cards (not all) use a controller that's not supported by the 1st generation ColorSpace. Delkin very generously swapped me for a different (and faster!) card, and things are now working correctly. According to your engineers, the problem does not exist with the 2nd generation ColorSpace, so no efforts will be made to fix it for the older generation (not really possible to swap out the chip set, which would be the way to fix it).

Hi Marc. The second generation of UDMA (UDMA2) is equipped with better chip set and it works fine with the Delkin card.

Yes, that's what I wrote, Kelvin. Only I called it "the 2nd generation ColorSpace." I think it's properly called the ColorSpace UDMA. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of upgrading for the sake of being able to read every card on the market. My 1st generation ColorSpace UDMA is still running strong and is filling its 3rd 500GB hard drive. By the way, the Card Recovery utility in the ColorSpace has saved my butt when 3rd-party software was useless.
