What can I use to charge the UDMA3?
Please use USB wall charger with output power of 5v 2A from iPad or Android tablet to recharge UDMA3 unit.
when I charge it never goes higher than 65%. Any idea what to do?
@Paco. I am going to share a dropbox link with you to download the Firmware v31 and update it on the device.
Once the firmware is updated to v31, please go to Settings > Power Setup > run the CouloMeter Calibrate. Let the battery drain to dead, and then plug in the power source to recharge the unit. It will fix the issue of never charge up to 100%
I have a ColorSpace UDMA3 arriving tonight. Can I get a copy of the latest firmware too? Just want to make sure I have the best FW before I get started using my device. I don't see any official firmware's posted to be downloaded.
Would it be possible for me to get the new firmware as well? Thanks!
Mine only got to 79% and my firmware version on my just received unit is 24. Is it possible to get the latest firmware update if this solves the charging issue?
@Kevin Can I have the dropbox-link the new firmware to? I have the charging issue as well, and my unit is on firmware v24.
Where can I download the firmware v31 to solve the charging issue?
Is there a later firmware for the UDMA 3. I'm on version 23. It can be very hard to get the device to go to full charge. It's also impossible to fully shut the device down so you are constantly having to charge it when not in use. Support for ExFAT on the internal hard drive would be very welcome. You already support it on the memory cards so it would be great internally, especially as it would allow files greater than 4GB.
I have a UDMA3 with v.30 firmware. It only charges to what it says is 73%. Would Coulometer Calibration Help? Or do I need the v.31 firmware mentioned in this thread? Thanks in advance.
@Tom Lovell, share a dropbox link with you to download the v35 firmware, and then run the Coulometer Calibration will fix the issue.
@Kelvin I'm not seeing a link to drop box. My UDMA3 doesn't have a "Coulometer Calibration" option?
@Ian, just sent you a dropbox link to download v35.
Thanks for that, installed and draining now. Why is it not just posted on this website in the Firmware section, like other products here?
@ian, firmware file size is too big to posted here.
I have the same problem and would like to get access to the v35 firmware. Could you please send me a link too?
32MB doesn't seem very large by today's standards. Dropbox isn't a great way to distribute software updates. I had to join dropbox in order to download the file. Something I didn't want to do, but had to just to get the software. Can't you just mount the file on your web server and post a link to it here?
@Kelvin Thank you, Kelvin. "Worked like a charm." Battery meter seems to be accurate now and show 100% after following instructions and charge
@Daniel, a dropbox link was sent over to you.
@ian, we will work on a proper way for users to download firmware. Sorry for any inconvenience caused at this moment.
Charge now at 100%, thank you. Is there a list of what is fixed / introduced in each firmware version?ThanksIan
@Kelvin Thanks, charging indicator now finally looking reasonable!
@Kelvin, Could you send the link to the latest firmware for the UDMA3 to me? Thank you.
Link I received isn't working. Can you please resend again? Thanks so much!
Still hoping someone can send a link to the latest firmware.
please send my a link to the V35 firmware?
