The HyperDrive does not seem like it wants to separate

When in shipping, the HyperDrive clamp portion can sometimes get stuck, but this is fairly easy to fix. If you cannot physically pull them apart after unscrewing the back, you may want to wedge something in between to separate them. Usually, we recommend something plastic, like those fake credit cards that come in the mail (finally have a use for those things...) or anything that can act as a wedge. You can use metal, but be careful on how much force is applied as to not damage the unit.
