Why is my device not charging at the full 96W?

If your device is not charging at the full 96W, there are a few reasons to consider.

• Your device + USB-C cable IS in fact capable of accepting an 96W charge.
• You have multiple USB-C/USB-A devices plugged in (See Charge Distribution)
• If the devices battery % is at roughly 70% or more, the charging will downscale (This is an Auto-Negotiation between what the charger supplies + what the device accepts/requires).
• Charging can downscale as a safety precaution for the charger and the device being charged to avoid unnecessary heat build-up and to prevent over-current/voltage/temperature, and short circuit protection.
