Using two monitors takes a lot of bandwidth as opposed to using just one. To allow for the discovery of the monitors for the first time, you may need to lower the resolution individually on each monitor down to 720P.
To lower the resolution settings for the monitors, simply connect each monitor individually. Then follow these instructions:
- Select System.
- Click Advanced Display Settings.
- Click on the menu under resolution and lower the resolution to 720P
Once these steps are completed, you should be able to connect and use two monitors with HyperDrive Slim on a Windows computer.
After the monitors are connected, functional, and set up, you can change the resolution to the max resolution supported by your monitors (up to 2K).
Please contact your computer’s manufacturer for unique settings if you still cannot get two monitors to connect to your computer after you have lowered the resolution for both.
