The current specs state that this HyperDrive supports 4K @ 60Hz:

    "1 x Mini DisplayPort (supports 4K video @60Hz)"

So which is it? 30Hz or 60Hz?

The page still says 4k @ 60hz. Can someone confirm which one 30hz or 60hz? Also, will this work on a 2015 retina macbook early 2015? If it does, will it work 4k @ 60hz or 30??

    it supports 4k@60Hz.

MacBook Pro retina in early 2015 does not has USBC port to use with the USBC hub.

Thank you for the quick response. I don't mean the macbook pro retina 2015. I mean the new style 12 inch macbook from 2015. This one: https://support.apple.com/kb/SP712?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US

For the 12' MacBook in early 2015, it supports up to 4k @30Hz only, it is because the USBC port support up to 5Gb/s.  But the 12" MacBook in 2016 can do 4K@60Hz due to the USBC port can support 10Gb/s
