How to update the iUSBPort Mini's firmware using an iPad?

STEP 1.  Download the firmware file for your iUSBPort Device. (Either as an attachment or through a link, steps should be as shown below)

If you have received a firmware update as an attachment see below. Once downloaded, you will select "Open in iUSBPort"

STEP 2: Once the file has been downloaded and opened in iUSBPort app, you should see a similar view from below.

**FROM THIS POINT ON, YOU WILL HAVE TO BE CONNECTED TO THE IUSBPORT'S WIRELESS NETWORK AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE IUSBPORT ON THE APP.

STEP 3: Click 'edit' from the top right corner of the screen to bring out the bullet points next to the files and tap the firmware file to select it.

STEP 4: Once selected, tap on the action button on the lower left corner of the right side panel and select 'copy'

STEP 5: Select the iUSBPort under the left panel of the screen and tap on "C" to access the remote storage.

STEP 6: Once you are within "C" press the action button once again but this time select "Paste" (A status window will show up showing you the status of the transfer)

STEP 7: Once the transfer is complete, reboot the iUSBPort device. You will see a different behavior of the lights while booting up which means the update is in progress. The iUSBPort will shut down automatically which means that the update has been completed.
