We have the iUSBpipe application to connect the iUSBport Camera to Mac computer with OSX 10.7 or below.
Please follow the instruction guide below:
1.) Download the iUSBpipe application (iUSBportCAMERA Pipe Mac v10.zip) at the link below to Mac computer
2.) Since the iUSBpipe application is in zip format, please unzip it.
3.) In order to use the iUSBpipe application, the iUSBCamera device must be at firmware version 32.
Firmware version 32 can be downloaded at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rgfx2imqko0fdnl/IUSBPCAM.SEF
- Save the firmware into a USB thumb drive and keep the file name as it is "IUSBPCAM.SEF"
- Insert the USB thumb drive to iUSBport Camera and power it up
- Wait till the screen show "vXX to v32", press power button one time to proceed it.
- Once the firmware is installed completely, the unit will shut off itself.
4.) Turn on the iUSBportCamera device and connect it to the DSLR camera.
5.) The message of "Self-Control" will be displayed on the iUSBCam, press power button one time to enable it.
6.) Have the WiFi on computer connected to "iUSBport" and open up the iUSBpipe application.
7.) Once the application is opened, the first pop up windows is to enter default Ad Hoc IP address, which is "192.168.0.1" and hit "OK".
8.) After that, a pop up window for choosing the destination folder. (where the picture will be saved into.)
9.) The next pop up window is to choose the image type to be saved in computer.
10.) Next, connect as either Guest or Registered User.
11.) Lastly a confirmation message will be shown up and hit "Start" to begin.
