How to join to the known network and set password on the iUSBport Camera?

User can get the iUSBport Camera to join to the known existing network which is demonstrated from step 1 till 5 or set password on the iUSBport Camera when it is running in the Ad Hoc mode only which is demonstrated from step 6 till 8.

1.) Turn on the unit and set the WiFi on iPad or tablet to connect to "iUSBport"

2.) Open up the Safari or Chrome browser, type in the default IP address "192.168.0.1"  in the URL address bar.

3.) The web app window will be displayed.  Please tap the Setting button (gear wheel icon) at the lower left corner.

4.) Switch "ON" the "Join known networks", then select the known network SSID.

5.) Key in the password of router twice and the device will be joined to the known existing network.  A new assigned IP address will be displayed on the device after reboot.

    

6.) How to set the password?

If the device is running in Ad Hoc mode, please follow the step 1 to 3, and then go to the "Set a new host name:"

if the device is running in Infra mode, the WiFi on iPad/iPhone is connected to the known network ID.  Open up the Safari or Chrome browser and type in the IP address which is displayed on the iUSBportCamera device and access to the Setting page.

7.) Key in the new SSID name and password.  User can hide the SSID and password without displaying it on the device.

8.) After the setting is changed, please close the internet browser and reboot the device.  The SSID and password will be hidden once the device is powered up.
