First, we apologize for the inconvenience as there is a bug found in Power Delivery where it will disconnect the hub from MacBook after wake up from sleep mode. It affects only the M1 and M2 series MacBooks, and users have to replug the hub to regain the connectivity.
We're currently working with the IC supplier for a firmware update solution and will post an update here as soon as possible.
However, there is a work around solution till the new firmware is available.
Go to Settings > Display > Advanced > Switch ON the "Prevent automatic sleeping on power adapter when display is off". Although it is not a perfect solution, it can keep the connection stay on after sleep mode.

I see this problem with my M1 Macbook and would like a firmware update for this when it is available.
Yes, we will post an update once the new FW is available.
I reported this issue back in January. It's been three months now with no resolution. What's the ETA for the firmware update? The device is unusable with M1 and M2 Macs.
Please either issue a refund or release the firmware update.
This is effecting Intel also , I have to disconnect and reconnect
Another month has passed. Where is the solution, Hyper?
I have had this Thunderbolt Hub sitting useless for over 4 months now. Unreal!!!
This issue also affects Intel based MacBook Pro laptops. My 2016 I7 intel disconnects from the hub after going to sleep.
It's been six months since this was posted with the workaround for “it disconnects during Sleep mode” being “disable sleep mode”, and a statement that new firmware would be available. The new firmware hasn't shown up and these hubs are still not delivering performance as good as a $30 Anker hub that costs 1/10th what this does. I don't think expecting a progress update every six months is unreasonable here.
I havent bought this specifically because of this problem. Any updates on a fix?
